Terms of Service

Effective April 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of Planck — the web application at planck.ani.computer, the Planck menu bar app for macOS, and any associated services (together, "the Service"). By signing in, installing the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You authorize Planck to access your Google Calendar on your behalf to the extent required by the scopes you approve during sign-in.

2. What Planck does

Planck reads your calendar, proposes changes, and — with your consent — creates or modifies events. You remain in control of your calendar and can revoke access at any time. Planck's agents may act autonomously within the trust level you set, but you are the final authority over what happens on your calendar.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break any applicable law, harass anyone, or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or models beyond what is allowed by law.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product, scrape data, or resell access.
  • Interfere with the Service's infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or malware, or to act as a proxy for another service without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Planck offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) through Stripe. By upgrading, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fee and any taxes.

You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain paid features until then. We generally do not offer refunds for partial periods, but if something on our side goes wrong, email zara@ani.computer and we'll make it right where reasonable.

Prices may change. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice for any price increase affecting an existing subscription.

5. Your content and data

Your calendar data, events, and focus history belong to you. By using the Service, you grant Planck a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You can export your data at any time from Settings → Data. Deleting your account removes your personal data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

6. Intellectual property

Planck, including the software, design, and branding, is owned by its creators. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. These terms do not transfer any Planck IP to you.

Feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation or compensation.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties — Google, Stripe, Anthropic, Resend, and others listed in the Privacy Policy. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to your use of those integrations. Planck is not responsible for the behavior, availability, or policies of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. Calendar automation carries risk; you are responsible for reviewing actions the agent takes against meetings you care about.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Planck disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Planck will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Planck in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Planck harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your violation of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately and the surviving provisions (IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and you consent to their exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll notify you via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
